Created by Actor/Comedian Kenan Thompson and Executive Producer Cherie Chiles-Buchanan, YoungStars360 is designed to partner with parents, managers, and Young Stars as they navigate the ins & outs of the entertainment industry. With the notable success of the adult talent search, Kenan and Cherie decided to extend similar opportunities to a budding community of talent ranging from 5-17 years of age. YoungStars360 provides a multi-tiered platform geared towards kids & teens, transforming rising stars to superstars.
WHAT IS THE TALENT SHOWCASE?
This is a huge opportunity for Young Stars 17 and under to unveil their artistry during one of Kenan Presents’ live in-person and online talent showcases. Individually selected youth across the country will highlight their special gift, whether it be performing arts, media driven or entrepreneurial focused, for an inclusive audience of network executives and entertainment professionals. Our mission is to shine a bright light on tomorrow’s next young star by getting them in the room with those who can take their careers to the next level.
How to audition for the showcase?
STEP ONE | Provide us details about the participant.
- Fill out the form on our website “Sign Up” submission page.
STEP TWO | Prepare a short audition video on our online voting system
- After you sign up: We will email a link to our online voting system, where you must upload the participant’s video and details
- Selected participants will advance to the online auditions

ONLINE AUDITION | How to be chosen to be in a showcase
- Online Submission Rounds will guide us to find the most talented Young Stars
- Selected participants will receive an invitation to perform at the in-person showcases
IN-PERSON SHOWCASE | Talent Search
- Pre-selected major cities will have talent search showcases
- Participants will have 4-5 minutes of stage time to highlight their skill
- An invitation to the finale showcase in NYC will be extended to selected participants
IN-PERSON CONFERENCE | Expo Workshops & Seminars
- Twelve (12) cities will have an integrated expo
- Limited impromptu auditions for consideration to perform at the talent showcases
- Q&A with notable industry scouts, managers and other key influencers
- Seminars with keynote speakers focusing on entertainment dos & don’ts
- Guided tutorial with marketing experts on tactics to garner maximum exposure
FINALE | New York City Talent Show
- Selected finalists from all over the country will perform with other top Young Stars, as they are vetted by industry scouts and producers that are casting for new projects… plus other amazing opportunities from Kenan Thompson and Artists for Artists
The Prizes & Opportunities
Selected participants will receive:
- An invitation to the finale at the new Hard Rock Hotel in NYC
- Access to our network of industry executives in NYC
- Paid appearance opportunities
- Round trip airfare to NYC for performer and a guardian
- Lodging in nearby location during performance-related dates
- Cash stipend and other prizes
What happens at the Finale In NYC | National talent showcase:

For a good Cause
A portion of the proceeds from the Ultimate Comedy Experience will go to the Cristian Rivera Foundation, a non-profit organization that works to find a cure for Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG), a rare pediatric brain tumor that claims the lives of 200-300 children a year. Come out and support rising comedians while helping a great cause!

Must be 17 years or under to participate in these events
Young Stars will have 4-5 minutes of stage time to win over the audience.
About the LIVE SHOWS
Our talent shows will go to over 35 cities all across America
We have chosen the best venues in the country to host these LIVE events
All of these events will have have tickets for sale and full house of audience members
How to win
Impress the Celebrity Judges in the LIVE audience
Be the best Young Star on the show, because the LIVE audience will be voting at the end of each show
Another chance to win is have 4-5 minute set that the online voters choose as the best Young Star
